Hey, I'm from Denver CO. and i want a trials bike. There are no stores around here so i will have to get it shipped if i buy stock. I've been looking at tartybikes, and i think i want a 24'' i live downtown so i will be doing mostly urban and maybe a lil dirt. is 24'' a good way to start? what about 26'', it seems like 26'' would be more difficult and heavier. What about brands, echo, zoo, gu, manus, inspired....i have no idea which is better. i'm 5'10'' 135lbs so im a pretty small guy. anyone recommend any stock bikes for a beginner? what about building one, for someone who has little knowledge about building bikes, would it be that hard to learn, do i need to buy expensive tools? any place where i can find beginner information would be excellent as well. thanks!

I have a mod frame and some parts I'm selling if you want to go that route. I don't really like stocks all that much, but there are of course many riders that love them. 24" is very cool, but since not a whole lot of trials riders even have them it makes 24"s more expensive than anything else. Let me know if you maybe want to try a mod I could help you out with that.

Cool 26" is the only bike for me. In my opinion, nothing else looks and rides like a true mountainbike. But, that's me. If you really want a 24, go for it. Life is short. Wink
