A member of "ultimateguitar.com"? No. I called "http://ultimateguitar.com" and I can't even find a forum there, just links to other sites. |

@J Trials 31: I agree, why not give it a try, you have nothing to loose, you don't have to buy an expensive guitar and you even have a private teacher at your disposal.

Depends a lot on what and how many obstacles you want to build and whether you have to buy the material or can get it for free. Pallets are very convenient, because you can adjust the height of the obstacles and the size of the gaps to your skills. If you get better you just put another one on top or draw the pallets further apart. I have 8 pallets here and they cost me 12 EUR a piece, that's about 15 USD or 19 CAD.
I heard people got pallets from their local supermarket for free, just by asking nicely. I tried that once and they looked at me like I was out of my mind, "uh no, we have to give them back to our vendors ourselfs". May be still worth a try if you're low on cash. |

| Yeah, I think I'm going to try to start playing guitar. Still gotta find me a good electronice drum set that's not too expensive. Would be better if I knew where to get one used or something. As far as setting up a trials park. I just found some wood and screwed together a box to play on. Went scouting for rocks, then grabbed old telephone poles and railroad ties and voila, you got a pretty good play area. |

Wow, a forum with dozens of active users and probably and hundreds of posts each week, scary!
I don't think they really need me there, but I bookmark the site because of the tabs. I love these "guitar pro" tabs, you can load them into "TuxGuitar" and play along, really convenient. |

Reminds me of a joke Nicko McBrain told in an interview:
How do you call someone who hangs around with musicians all day?

Usually I'm not interested in the private life of musicians, but out of sheer boredom I read through a biography of one of my favorite bands today, and this really caught me by surprise:
"People have these heavy issues and ask, 'Isn't this a problem for you?' and no. I'm well-rounded, I have a really strong belief system and these are just words and they'll never interfere with what I believe and how I feel."
(Tom Araya)
So Tom Araya is a believing catholic and singing lines like "God hates us all" is ok for him because these are "just words". I guess that means anything you say or write is unimportant, because it's "just words".
Imagine it the other way round, a minister or the pope himself saying something like "Ok, in my sermons on sunday I talk about god, but that doesn't interfere with my atheism, these are just words".
Man, that guy should really see a psychiatrist... |

Hello,
My favorite band is Alkaline Trio.
One of their only songs that hit radios was "We've Had Enough."
Most of their songs weren't that popular...and much better than that song-the one song that was kinda popular wasn't all that great. _________________ Its my life |

I like a little of Mastadon, and I love Alice in Chains. Really wish I could see them live, but my parents already said no. Not cause of the music just that there is no seating it's all just open, most likely going to be a mosh pit. lol |
