Hi there went down to my LBS to get them to take a look at my bike they say i need a new freewheel, mine has 18teeth at the moment anybody recommend a good strong freewheel which doesn't brake, because i don't have a clue i was looking at the ACS Claws 18T Welded, would that works.
Freewheel found here: http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=314
Thanks Sutton |

For the best at the best price choose the ACS. The best type of freewheels are either the White Industries Eno, Tensile freewheel, Echo freewheel, or the Monty or Try-all freewheel.
I have heard about some problems with the ACS, but it's cheap and can be replaced easily. If you got the money go for one of the higher end freewheels. |

yo man the white industries eno trials freewheel is probably the best there is.
Me, Mattt and Ottawa_biker each have had ours for almost 2 years and i think collectivley we've had maybe 3 skips, all of wich during the break in period.
thats a phenominal freewheel.
The tryall one with 108 eps look sweet too, i hear its mega loud.
look at www.hbtrials.com, Hugo is a beast when it comes to trials stuff and he can hool up up for pretty cheap _________________ From each according to his ability to each according to his need. From me nothing to me... nothing

If you're in Canada, definitely go with HBtrials. Hugo is a great guy & have personally helped me.
If you're in the US I have White Industries in stock.
The ACS is great for beginner trials. But if you want something solid and reliable, definitely go with something higher quality. I can't say for Monty & Try-All freewheels but my White Industries only skipped once (while coasting) in the last few weeks and have been solid since day one. |
